I’m a simple person. I’m not important, but my work is. I love what I do, and I do it well. I’m full of heart and anecdotes, just like my dad. I am a workaholic. I can’t get enough of The Walking Dead. I love Jets pizza-with turbo crust, of course. I have a little bit of a potty mouth, but hey, irreverence is bliss. Every Tuesday is Taco night at my house. I’m totally a dog person. I love all things DIY. I am inspired by life on a daily basis. I love rock and roll, tattoos and road trips. Boys with good style are my weakness. I watched the entire Lost series in two weeks. And I still don’t get it. I will always be a Florida girl at heart. I grew up with the smell of salt in the air and sand between my toes, and nothing is more relaxing to me than a day on the beach.I’ve been told I have a beautiful smile. I drink an insane amount of Coca-Cola. I could eat tacos every night of the week and be perfectly content. I am a little bit introvert, a little bit extrovert. If I could have one superpower, I would cure cancer.
I started riding horses when I was four years old. It’s one of the few things other than photography that I am madly, deeply, insanely passionate for. Nothing quite compares to the feeling of riding a horse. I’ll be graduating from MTSU with a degree in Equine Science in the near future, if for no reason other than the fact that I want a college degree, and when I retire, I want to own a horse farm.
I really (really, really) love spoiling my dog, Hootie. In fact, I’m a little obsessed with him. He is the bread to my butter, the sun to my shine, the white to my rice. He’s basically my favorite. Going to the dog park is one of my favorite things to do on my days off. Nothing is more entertaining than watching a Jack Russell with an unhealthy tennis ball obsession. If you’ve never had the opportunity to enjoy this simple pleasure, let’s make plans.
Oh, and did I mention I’m a photographer?

I’m not a one-size-fits-all wedding photographer. My style is a mix of photojournalism and creative portraiture. I love real moments, and moments in between moments, and no amount of photographic talent can recreate them for you. Nothing gets me quite like a good location with yummy light. I don’t want to shoot weddings in churches, I want to shoot weddings in beautiful outdoor locations with gorgeous light and beautiful backdrops and lots of DIY details. I love to scope out great backgrounds, find the best light, and get some sweet, romantic, creative, amazing photos of you and your other half in a way like no others. My passion is fueled by the intricate details that every couple puts into not only their wedding day, but their relationship with each other.
Anybody can pick up a camera and take a photo. That’s not what I do, though. I find the story, and I tell it in a way that no matter who looks at the images, they can feel as if they were there. That’s what’s so important to me. While I love a beautiful tablescape and do-it-yourself details and all the beautiful things that go into a wedding, the emotion, the love, the story…that’s what it’s all about to me.
People ask me all the time what I do for a living. I get to spend all of my time documenting the story between two people, figuring out what makes them tick and what makes them smile and what makes them beautiful. I believe that everyone has a story, and I want to tell yours. There’s just something about two people in love that gives me the butterflies. Cheesy? Maybe, but I’m pretty cheesy myself, or at least that’s what all my friends say.
Now that you know a little bit about me, I want to get to know you and everything that makes you the couple that you are, so let’s grab some coffee and talk about anything and everything. Simply get in touch.
